Huntington Gardens Apartments are located about 1 mile from one of the highly favored beaches in the county: Huntington Beach.  With  3.5 miles of oceanfront, Huntington Beach earned the name Surf City.

Enjoy a stroll along the  1,850-foot pier and take in the view – surfers catching waves and sunbathers catching some rays (hopefully using SPF sunscreen).

And perpendicular to the pier is the Huntington Bike Trail, a thoroughfare of beach cruisers, joggers, strollers and skaters that at peak season can resemble the 405 at rush hour. If you’re ambitious you can take it to the two neighboring beaches — Bolsa Chica to the north and Huntington State Beach to the south. At its north end the beach has an area specially set aside for dog beach-goers and their companions called Huntington Dog Beach. Huntington Gardens proudly supports Huntington Dog Beach each year.

Beyond the day-to-day amenities that draw people year-round, Huntington City Beach also regularly hosts major events, including the Surf City Marathon on Super Bowl Sunday, the largest Independence Day celebration west of the Mississippi in July and holiday festivities that include lighting snowflakes on the pier in early December. Happen by in late July and early August and you can experience the U.S. Open of Surfing, a huge gathering that confirms the beach’s status as the capital of surf culture. (adapted from OC Register)
